Adhesives

Pidilite’s Fevicol Marine is a waterproof adhesive designed for marine plywood and applications where water resistance is crucial. It’s known for its fast-setting and superior coverage, along with a high degree of water resistance. It offers 7 hours of boiling water resistance and 7 days of normal water resistance.

Key features and benefits of Fevicol Marine:
  • Waterproof: Powered by Aqua Repel Technology, it provides excellent water resistance, even in high-moisture environments.

  • Fast Setting: It has a setting time of 4-6 hours.

  • Superior Coverage: It offers good coverage, meaning a smaller quantity can cover a larger area.

  • Versatile Application: Suitable for bonding wood, plywood, laminates, veneers, particleboard, blockboard, and MDF.

  • High Durability: The high resin content and special formulation ensure long-lasting bonds, especially in high-humidity areas.

  • Ease of Use: It is easy to spread and apply.
Application Guidelines:
  • Apply lengthwise on one surface and breadthwise on the other for even spreading.
  • Join surfaces within 5-6 minutes of adhesive application.
  • Ensure proper alignment and apply pressure to avoid bubbles.
  • Use clamps, weights, or tape to maintain pressure for 24 hours for the best results.
  • Wipe off excess adhesive with a damp cloth.

Note: While Fevicol Marine is known for its fast-drying properties, full strength develops after 24 hours at room temperature.
