Imported - HDF Grade
Experience the solid feel and refined surface of Imported High-Density Fiberboard (HDF), offered in both plain and pre-laminated options. With a higher density than regular MDF, HDF provides better impact resistance, a finer finish, and dependable longevity, making it well-suited for interior and semi-commercial projects.
At Dhanuka Enterprises, we supply imported HDF boards made from selected wood fibres bonded under high pressure to support stable, consistent behaviour. They work well for precision-cut panels, CNC routing, wall panelling, furniture components, and ready-to-install laminated sheets. With HDF, you can combine strength, smoothness, and a neat appearance across a wide range of design and fit-out requirements.
- Imported HDF (High-Density Fiberboard) is developed for projects that demand a compact, sturdy board with a refined surface. Its high-density core makes it tougher and more resilient than many standard MDF options, especially in heavy-use furniture and detailed interior elements. The ultra-smooth surface helps achieve neat results with paint, veneers, laminates, and membrane press finishes, supporting clean lines and consistent colour.
- Pre-laminated HDF variants come with factory-finished decors in solid shades, woodgrain designs, and textured looks. This reduces on-site finishing time and helps maintain uniform appearance across multiple panels. The strong core offers dependable screw-holding and edge performance, making it well-suited for CNC routing, grooving, and intricate profiling work.
- Imported HDF is manufactured with a uniform core structure for good dimensional stability and controlled expansion when used and stored as recommended. Typical specifications include thicknesses from 3 mm to 18 mm, in a standard 8 x 4 ft (2440 mm x 1220 mm) size. Plain boards usually have a dark brown core, while pre-lam boards are available in various décor options. Material is sourced from regions such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, in interior or semi-moisture-resistant grades, depending on the product.
- Common uses include wall panelling, drawer bases, back panels, decorative doors, CNC feature panels, modular kitchen shutters, wardrobe and loft fronts, flooring substrates for laminate floors, and shopfitting components. With its dense build, smooth face, and ready-to-use pre-lam options, imported HDF supports long-lasting furniture and interior applications while helping save time on finishing and providing a consistent, well-prepared working base.
