We are an authorised dealer of Pidilite from Bangalore
Pidilite’s Fevicol Marine is a water-resistant adhesive formulated for marine plywood and other applications where contact with water is a regular concern. It is designed to set relatively quickly and provide a good spread, helping optimise glue usage during woodworking and panel bonding.
When used as recommended, Fevicol Marine offers tested resistance to tough conditions, including up to 7 hours of boiling-water exposure and up to 7 days of contact with normal water. This makes it a practical choice for kitchens, bathrooms, utility areas, and boat-related woodwork, where a dependable bond is needed even under challenging moisture conditions.
Â
Key features and benefits of Fevicol Marine:
- Waterproof: Powered by Aqua Repel Technology, it provides excellent water resistance, even in high-moisture environments. Â
- Fast Setting: It has a setting time of 4-6 hours. Â
- Superior Coverage: It offers good coverage, meaning a smaller quantity can cover a larger area. Â
- Versatile Application: Suitable for bonding wood, plywood, laminates, veneers, particleboard, blockboard, and MDF. Â
- High Durability: The high resin content and special formulation ensure long-lasting bonds, especially in high-humidity areas. Â
- Ease of Use:Â It is easy to spread and apply.Â
Application Guidelines:
- Apply lengthwise on one surface and breadthwise on the other for even spreading.
- Join surfaces within 5-6 minutes of adhesive application.
- Ensure proper alignment and apply pressure to avoid bubbles.
- Use clamps, weights, or tape to maintain pressure for 24 hours for the best results.
- Wipe off excess adhesive with a damp cloth. Â
Note: While Fevicol Marine is known for its fast-drying properties, full strength develops after 24 hours at room temperature.
